We actually do not hold weekly meetings for all PreMeds. We try to plan and organize plenty of events to keep you up to date though. Our PreMed Leadership meets weekly to make sure events happen.
Do events cost money?
Most events do not cost money. There are two specific events (other than fund raisers that obviously cost) that require a ticket/registration fee. These two events are our Dinner with Doctors as well as our annual Intermountain PreMed/PrePA Conference.
Does it cost to be a part of the PreMed Association?
Yes. There is a $10 club due fee that can be paid at the UVU Clubs Office in SLWC 122. This money covers from August to May. Even if you pay in January, it will still be $10 and go through May. All members are required to pay every August for each school year. Paying will also get you a discount on the Dinner with Doctors as well as the annual Intermountain PreMed/PrePA Conference.
